Return to Yourself

“You certainly are not yourself today.”
“I seldom am,” said Cecelia.
Elizabeth Bowen

Maybe you’re ready to upgrade, change, re-energize, or reveal to yourself what you want your life to be now. Perhaps you’re ready to bring your true self back into your soul. It’s been there all along, you know.

In one of my favorite books, Something More: Excavating Your Authentic Self, the author Sarah Ban Breathnach talks about how changing your life is like re-potting a plant.

Consider a change in your life similar to re-potting a plant that has outgrown its space in the pot. We, too, need to consider re-potting our direction chapter by gaining clarity on ways we want to live now and in the future. We have a sense of where we want to go but can’t find the roadmap to get there.

I can help you help yourself with that.

Find your true self- get back your life as a woman

If you wilt before the change begins, when you can’t seem to visualize or dream; when you can’t remember the last time you laughed; when there is nothing in the next twenty-four hours, you have to look forward and hold on to your energy.

When this happens week in and week out, you need to loosen the soil around your soul gently and find something that sparks your imagination and quickens your pulse,

You don’t have to take a massive step out of your life. You don’t need to leave a marriage or quit your job.

But you need to live something new.”/strong>

What would that look like for you? A new passion? Start a new purpose that is meaningful to yourself and others. Explore all the things you’ve wanted to do that you haven’t even tried to make happen.

I can help you with this. I know. I’ve been there, too.

Your choices are based on giving yourself permission.
