It’s kind of like cleaning your closets. Sometimes you’ve just got to go deep, clear out the things you haven’t worn for a while, and start over!

It seems simple, really. You know what your life is all about, right? You know if you’re generally happy, if you want to make some changes, reach new goals, a different job, and maybe just completely start over.

But do you really know your life situation? This short assessment just might get your mind moving and your life on the way to re-charging.

Health- What is important to you when you consider your health?

Of course, health is a vast subject, and considering what is important to you in that arena can be different for all of us. When you evaluate where you’re when you take a look at your overall health that you’ve perhaps taken your good health for granted, it can be an eye-opener.

  • Track your eating habits.
  • How much of your time do you commit to exercising, preparing healthy food, resting?
  • What is your current weight? Exactly what weight do you want to be?
  • Is your sleep consistent each night?
  • Health isn’t only about our bodies. It is about our minds, as well. What do you do each week to support your mental health? Meditation? Reading?

Wealth-What constitutes a wealthy life for you?

The word wealth can have a myriad of meanings. And it’s not necessarily connected to dollars and cents.

  • How do you define wealth? What are the ways the word wealth has meaning to you?
  • Does just saying the word wealth, as in money, make you feel peaceful or a bit agitated?
  • If money is important to you beyond the basic life needs, how do you obtain it, and how do you measure how much you want to get? And why?
  • In what ways do you have wealth in your life outside of money, and do you?

Family-What and What is important to you regarding your family?

Families have a variety of dynamics. What about you?

  • Do you have a satisfying relationship with your family members?
  • Who in your family are you closest to, why and what does that look like?
  • What about people outside of your biological family that are very much like family?
  • What do you bring that is positive? What is negative? What are needs met, or not satisfied, for you in your family relationships?

Relationships-Who is essential to you?

  • Where is the relationship right now?
  • Does the relationship enrich your life?
  • Does it draw energy from you and make you wonder if it’s worth it?
  • How much of your relationships are friends, colleagues, and romantic?
  • How many times did you take help of top mindset fitness coaches to cultivate those relationships?

Contribution- How significant is your contribution to the world?

Giving back to the world can take place in so many ways. How do you do it? Or do you? Or does it matter?

  • Where does contribute to the world land in importance to your life on a scale of 1-10?
  • In what ways, big or small, do you take the time to be a part of helping others?
  • What would you want to do to contribute to the world if you had time or access?

Spiritual- Is spiritual growth important to you?

  • What does the word “spirit” mean to you?
  • What do you do, if anything, to maintain or grow your spirit?
  • How often in a week is spiritual growth a priority?
  • What ways or means do you use?

Career/job. What is important to you in your work?

  • Money?
  • Status?
  • Fulfillment?
  • Workplace relationships?

Playtime- What do you do just for fun?

We all need fun in our lives. It’s how we rewind, relax, and renew ourselves.

  • What do you do that works for you?
  • Do you take time for fun regularly?
  • Are you getting enough fun in your life? How much would that be?
  • What things are you not doing for fun that you could start doing?

While doing this exercise, no doubt, other thoughts, and questions have come up for you. What do you lack? What other areas in your life require mindset coaching? And through this process, what areas in your life could use more in-depth discussions, contemplation, and change?
